(Michael) A while back, Amanda suggested we go on a Saturday hike to a place she had looked up. It was a beautiful day for a hike...especially for Thomas. Not only did he find (and capture) TWO darkling beetles, but we ended at a lake hopping with little tiny frogs. It started out so innocent. He even shared some of his frogs with some other kids who came by. But once the boy got to be comfortable with the little creatures...well, it did not end so nicely.
