OCMCO and a day with Robert

The first weekend in December was the Christmas Orange County Mormon Choral and Orchestra concert. I love watching/listening to their beautiful music, and the Christmas concert is my favorite because it's so festive and really gets you into the spirit of Christmas.

Before the concert we had the privilege of spending part of the day with Robert.....eh hem, I mean, the Pirate King.

Our first adventure was trying to find the cricket we could hear under/behind the fridge. Next we did all things pirate (made a pirate ship, collected pirate gold, made a pirate map, etc.)

Afterwards we met up with the rest of Robert's family who all performed in the concert (amazing, right?).

Michael's brother David played the trombone while Emily, Katherine, Michael, John, and Erin all sang. They are quite the talented family.

After dinner we met up with Craig and Marilyn to enjoy the performance; it was my favorite one so far. I think Robert enjoyed it as well...

and Michael got in some good child practice.

What a fun day.
