We weren't very good at having our camera with us this Christmas season. Our decorations and tree-getting was very similar to last year, except that we got our tree much too early this time around and so it was a little tired by Christmas morning.
So sad.
Fortunately, other people at many of the events did have their cameras; however, we have yet to hunt them down and so until then we'll leave you with a Christmas Lily Post. For some reason the camera was always around for Lily.
Lily was another reason why our tree had tired branches.
And was spoiled with quite the collection of presents.
Michael and I made Lily a cardboard cat house as her Christmas present from us. We were up late the night before Christmas making it - I would say we know exactly how most parents feel when they have to put their children's toys together before Christmas morning, except that once we got too tired we just went to bed and left the house unfinished. She didn't even notice :)
Her first encounter was a little rough though (if you don't feel like watching skip to 28s).
She eventually got over it and sleeps in her house all the time now. The festive collar was a gift from our friend's Alan and Allison.
And finally, Lily's favorite game.
Although she's nothing compared to this cat.
We promise to give you the real Christmas update as soon as we get some pictures. Oh, and Happy New Year!
