I love living in San Diego and having access to the zoo whenever we feel like it.
Thomas also loves it. Here he is about 3 seconds before that giant bird latched onto his outstretched finger.
Surprisingly he didn't scream or cry or anything. It took a while for both Michael and I to move in. Apparently Michael's hesitation was due to wondering if he could actually hit a bird that is potentially worth thousands of dollars. I was mostly thinking that the bird would let go right away; it didn't.
Good times at the zoo.
Thomas and I have also been enjoying my two year pass to Seaworld. It's really nice during the week when there are hardly any people there and the animals get nice and close. For example, this walrus that kept giving Thomas a stare down.
