(Michael) After a tip from my mother (thanks!), Amanda snagged a free emergency preparedness kit from a local car dealer. We weren't sure exactly what to expect, but it turned out to have a decent collection of odds and ends.
As for our emergency food storage, we should be good with our latest bumper crop of carrots...right?
(They look a bit strange because we might have forgotten about them for over a year)
