Getting the tree
Only in California would it look like a hot summer day and yet the kids are wearing hats and sweaters in front of a Christmas tree.
Cookie decorating party
We had a couple of Thomas' friends over to decorate Christmas cookies. It pretty much just turned into a frosting eating contest. Fun times.
Christmas Morning
Unfortunately, it wasn't until after we had taken all of our Christmas morning pictures that we realized our camera is permanently broken. Here is one of the less blurry ones. We should have put a bow or something on Becca to help her look less like a boy.
Christmas is getting better and better as the children get older. Thomas is at least to the point where he is excited to open presents. I can't wait for the anticipation stage. Maybe next Christmas. Toy highlights: crane, chalkboard, colorful play scarves, video baby cam, Friday Fun Nights
We had our traditional Christmas breakfast with Alan and Allison, which meant fun times with snap chat filters. Luke and Rachel were also in town and able to come so it was even merrier than usual.
Church Christmas Morning
This year Christmas was on Sunday. Our immediate response was to groan, until we quickly remembered what Christmas is all about. Then we sheepishly got ready and took a quick picture before heading out. I really enjoyed having church on Christmas. It reminded me of when we used to go to Christmas mass. (Amanda)
Christmas dinner with my parents
As usual, a delicious meal spent with family. We are so lucky to live close to family.
Child Christmas in Wales dinner with my parents
Every year we invite my parents (Craig and Marilyn) over for a ham dinner and screening of "A Child's Christmas in Wales." This year Thomas decided to stay up and watch the movie with us. I may have gotten a little teary eyed at the end. It doesn't help that the boy in the movie is named Thomas.
