(Michael) Back in December, there were some fairly large snowfalls up in the mountain. Knowing that lining up everything for a snow adventure is tricky business, we jumped at the chance to have some winter wonderland moments. We went to the Lagunas and sure enough found a nice stretch of snow right off the road. It was a little rough to actually get to a place where we could pull off because we were doing what pretty much half of San Diego county was doing.
We were feeling good until we ran into one big issue...Thomas was not up for putting on any kind of coat. It was a windy day so I thought that that plus the snow would have convinced him, but he completely broke down. So we tried to make the best of it with Rebecca (who looked like a little marshmallow in her puffy snow suit) and did a little sledding. But ultimately the best use of the sled was to drag a screaming Thomas across the snow.
