(Michael) We were excited for our annual harvest day fun since last year we found a nice pumpkin patch on the way to Julian.
In addition to the pumpkins, they have goats, pigs, a bison, but Thomas was mostly interested in climbing this large granite boulder.
Despite the especially cute setting, the kids looked like this for most of the pictures.
The best we could get was the silly-faced one below.
We actually didn't purchase a pumpkin there (since you could probably start your own pumpkin patch for the price of one of these), but to compensate, we let Thomas do the pony ride.
You can tell that this isn't his first rodeo.
After the pumpkin patch we continued to Julian and enjoyed a beautiful hike. We actually had come here last year in our failed attempt to find snow. This time I was determined not to go on a wild goose chase with a tired toddler and a 7-month pregnant wife. Nope, this time we took it easy and just enjoyed the nice day.
Thomas loved exploring, but it is a little eerie how he can all of a sudden become very serious at times.
But he usually snaps back pretty quickly.
