Ever since we moved into our house we have wanted to put in a walkway from our driveway to the street where most of our guests park. After debating over whether to do it ourselves or have a professional come in we finally decided to bite the bullet and have someone do it for us. If we thought that would be the end of our tough decision making we were very wrong. First we had to get a few estimates and decide on the contractor we wanted, then we had to decide on the type of walkway we wanted, and then we had to decide on the pattern/color of the bricks, and the list goes on. After weeks and weeks we finally had our walkway put in.
We were pleased with the way it turned out. No we just have to figure out which plants to put along the side of the pathway. Oh yay, more decisions....
In other news, the cats and the baby are getting along better than we thought. I think it's because they have a lot in common...
...like spending the whole day either sleeping or eating.
And since Lily hasn't been getting as much attention from me with Thomas around, she and Riley are becoming closer than before.
Of course, her favorite spot is still on Michael's work backpack. No matter where it is she will find it and attempt to make herself comfortable.
As for Thomas, we spent a month battling thrush. We had him on Nystatin for two weeks with little results, so we deccided to try gentian violet. His mouth was blue/purple for a week, but we finally defeated the thrush. We had several people come up to us at church asking if our baby was breathing.
And here are a few pictures for people without Facebook.
