Circle of Life

(Michael) A little tragedy in the McPhie home, a few weeks ago we noticed one of our chickens (named Raisin Razorbeak by my nephews) was acting very lethargic.  We spent many days trying to help that poor hen (feeding her olive oil with a baby syringe, giving her all her favorite foods, bathing her with epson salt), but sadly it became clear to us that we needed to end her suffering.  I did the deed, but I am happy to say that it was a peaceful parting.  Farewell little Raisin, may your next life take you to endless fields of blueberries.
